An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client, a highly successful, specialist, independent, chartered insurance broking firm in London

Our client was established over 50 years ago and the company specialises in providing advice and arranging insurance for both residential and commercial property, property developments and associated risks.

Details of the Position & Requirements

·         Assisting the Real Estate Director with day-to-day Policy administration, encompassing the processing of MTAs / renewal preparation / negotiation;

·         Personally, dealing with Real Estate insurance issues

·         Adherence to delegated authority terms.

·         Preparation and issuance of renewal documentation to freeholders, maintenance of records of payment and issuance of reminders as necessary.

·         Ensuring that credit control is up-to-date by actively chasing outstanding premiums at the appropriate time;

·         Administering the Real Estate Contents and Engineering policies

·         To provide an effective and efficient claims service for the Real Estate Clients, liaising as appropriate with occupiers / loss adjusters / insurers

·         Act as client advocate in relation to claims, advising on policy cover and providing guidance throughout the claims process.

·         Issue claim forms.

·         Co-ordinate the appointment of loss adjusters.

·         Arrange mandates where appropriate.

·         Maintain accurate records of claims made / settled and any changes in reserves

·         Identify claim trends or poorly performing properties within the portfolios and highlight and suggest potential risk improvement measures to address claim trends or poorly performing properties within the portfolio

The personal qualities of the candidate will be critical in deciding the most suitable individual to fill this post. You will be personable, confident, and highly credible in front of clients and will be well organised, have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and be committed to providing quality service.

Most importantly you will be proactive, have sufficient technical knowledge and experience to handle and Service the full variety of their clients servicing requirements, thereby building long term customer relationships and referrals.
