We are working with a well- established and reputable hospitality chain, and they are recruiting for a HR Advisor / ER Advisor to join the business.
 
For this role it is essential that candidates have previous hospitality industry experience (either in a HR capacity or from working in the industry) and will need to have supported on HR matters across multiple locations. Ideally candidates will have strong ER and HR best practice experience.
 
Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a busy HR team, the role will provide HR support to c4500 employees across multi-sites in the UK. The main focus of the role will be around HR advice, guidance and best practice, supporting on ER cases, coaching and supporting managers and rolling out new training initiatives.
 
This is busy and fast paced role and candidates will need to be able to work on their own initiative. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Reporting into the HR Director, working as part of an established HR team, providing HR support to c4500 employees across 200 UK sites
-Supporting on all ER matters and managing own ER case-load, including grievances, disciplinary, tribunals and performance management
-Disciplinary and grievance case management, including analysis of investigation, preparation of documentation, drafting outcome letters and providing advice and guidance to senior management, seeing the case through from the beginning until the end.
-Providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies, procedures, UK Employment law and HR best practice
-Offering coaching and guidance to line managers, including identifying, designing and delivering training initiatives to up-skill managers
-Manage eligibility to work queries and provide training and advice to the business
-Working as part of the HR team and supporting the HR Director on HR projects and initiatives
 
For this role it is essential that candidates have proven HR experience (with good exposure to ER) and have hospitality or similar / relevant industry experience.
 
Strong communication skills, professional approach and the ability to work from your own initiative are essential, as this is a fast paced and busy role.
