 Internal Insurance and Claims Executive – London – 6 Month FTC

  Salary to c45k PA Pro Rata for 6 Months but negotiable + Exceptional Benefits – Flexible Working available

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client, a highly successful Privately Owner Property Companies with sites across the UK and it headquarters in London City

 

Our client has a portfolio of over 10,000 properties a Mixture of Commercial, Residential and Leisure  

 

  Overview of the position

 

·         Management of insurance claims (mainly Property/Liability/Property Owners Liability/Motor but can extend to all classes of insurance required for the business)  

·         Providing insurance certificates.

·         Quarterly claims reviews with brokers/insurance Regional Managers

·         Answering all insurance related queries from within the business and from clients/tenants, confirming where cover applies as well as the application of the relevant excess.

·         Comfortable with reviewing leases, particularly insurance and indemnity clauses.

·         Liaison between all parties, Insurers, Adjusters, Solicitors, Property Managers, Tenants, Clients, Commercial Estate Managers, Contractors

·         Mid-Term Adjustments/Quarterly declarations – Keeping track of all property movements (purchases, sales, rental changes etc) and liaising with brokers to ensure this is captured and reflected within the relevant quarter so the premium can be adjusted accordingly. Liaising with finance so they can ensure tenant recharges are managed appropriately.

·         Risk Management – Ensure smooth liaison between insurers and the relevant contacts so Risk Improvements surveys can be conducted, once completed, ensuring that the relevant actions are undertaken within the timescale.

·         Managing impairment notices, recognise JCT’s ensure, obtain public liability and contract works certificates from joint parties.

·         Providing assistance with the company’s renewal, completing proposal forms, providing claims analysis. Ensuring payment of the premiums, taxes, reconciliation, and processes with Finance.

·         Reconciliation of all insurance receivable payments with finance.

 

 

The personal qualities of the candidate will be critical in deciding the most suitable individual to fill this post. You will be personable, confident, and highly credible in front of clients and will be well organised, have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and be committed to providing quality service.

 

Most importantly you will be proactive, have sufficient technical knowledge and experience to handle and Service the full variety of their clients servicing requirements, thereby building long term customer relationships and referrals.
