Job Information

A leading lighting solutions company based in Dewsbury is looking for an HR Administrator who has experience in a similar role with proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
 
Key Role and Responsibilities
 
-Being the first point of contact for any HR issues
-Forming and maintaining employee records
-Day to day management of the main HR e-mail inbox
-Input holidays and absence into the HR database
-Supporting managers with 1-2-1’s and other employee engagement matters
-Escalating matters to the Finance Director and/or Company Accountant where necessary      
-Liaising with Directors and Managers on all recruitment matters
-Dealing with starters, leavers and processing changes to staff files
-Dealing with incoming telephone calls and all incoming and outgoing post
-Conducting pre-employment checks including right to work
-Monitor sickness and absences in line with company trigger points
-Work with the Finance Department on payroll matters
-To assist Directors and Managers with staff training needs
-Other admin duties as required
 
The Candidate:
-Previous administration role experience in a busy department
-Previous experience in an HR environment
-Experience of using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to an advanced level
-Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, coping with competing deadlines and priorities
-Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing, to all, including senior managers
-Ability to present data in a clear and readable format and think clearly and logically.
-Flexible in approach to the needs of the business
-Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
-Attention to detail
