Job Information

We are assisting an established Law firm and they are recruiting for a L&D Coordinator to join the business. This is a new and exciting role, and they are looking to recruit ASAP.
 
Working as part of a HR team of 2 people and supporting c130 employees, the role will be focused on supporting the business across a range of L&D services, including building a culture of continuous learning and supporting on key L&D projects. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Support with the execution of the annual Learning and Development Plan and supporting all heads of departments in the identification of learning and development needs across the firm
-Work on key L&D projects, specifically on the new IT system implementation, ensuring that all employees have adequate training and effectively become a "super user" on IT systems
-Supporting the relevant departments with the delivery of induction training which will include training on key IT systems and accounting software
-Coordinate and administer digital and face to face training sessions
-Create, deliver, and arrange training for the Firm as required based upon individual, department and firm-wide training needs, up-to-date legislation, professional body requirements, policy and regulations, ensuring that all identified training is undertaken by all relevant staff (including Partners and consultants) within the firm
-Arrange all external training and maintain relationships with training providers
-Develop and maintain Learning and Development presentations and materials for all key areas of the business, working closely with the Senior HR Administrator in this area
-Work closely with the HR Manager to develop and deliver the apprenticeship training programme and administer all apprenticeship administration
-Maintain, implement and enforce procedures to meet professional body requirements in relation to learning and development, including ensuring CPD/continuing competence records are kept up to date
-Ensure all training is delivered to a timetable agreed with the firm’s senior management team • Liaising with the Onboarding team (HR, IT, Ethics & Compliance, Marketing and Facilities) and communicate new joiner instructions as required

For this role candidates will need to hold a grounding in L&D (minimum 18 months experience) and ideally have worked in a professional services industry (although not essential). The role would be suitable for a keen and ambitious L&D professional who is looking to take on more responsibility and progress within the firm.
 
Please note - This is an office based / business facing role as you will be providing training and supporting the firm with a range of L&D services, so home working will not be applicable for this position. The hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700.
