We are assisting an established consultancy-based organisation and they are recruiting for a HR Manager to join the business ASAP.
 
The company provide consultancy services for growing SME international clients and this role would be to head up the HR function, leading a team of 3 and providing a dedicated and comprehensive operational and strategic HR service to their clients.
 
Reporting into the chairman, in addition to leading on HR for their clients, the role would also be responsible for managing the companies HR function, providing HR support to c40 employees. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Leading and managing the HR team, acting as a No2 to the Chairman, managing all operational and strategic HR activities
-Providing a comprehensive HR consultancy service to a range of SME clients based both in the UK and internationally
-Senior contact for clients, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR activities including designing their HR strategic plans, international assignments, global mobility and international relocation policies etc
-Build relationships and support clients through growth by offering tailored HR solutions
-Provide expert HR guidance and hold strong knowledge of international HR regulations
-Identify and deliver service improvement projects
-Manage relationships and deliverables with overseas HR Service Partners
-Provide commercially focused HR advice and guidance to client’s senior management teams

For this role candidates must have proven experience at this level working for SME’s and be CIPD Qualified (ideally Level 7). It is essential that candidates have experience of supporting both UK and International employees, including expert knowledge of UK and international employment law.
 
The role would be ideal for a seasoned HR Professional who has experience providing HR Consultancy services to a range of SME clients and now looking for a permanent role with a growing business or alternatively has worked in a senior HR role that has supported multiple international / UK locations.
 
As this role will be client facing, candidates must hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be commercially focused, offering expert advice in straight forward language. Candidates will need to be able to come in and hit the ground running, leading an established and growing HR team and support the business as they grow.
 
Working in a fast-paced environment, it is essential that candidates can be reactive, highly responsive and professional, whilst providing a comprehensive HR service to their clients.
