We are working with an established creative agency, and they are recruiting for a HR Manager to join the business. This role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor / HR Generalist / HR Manager looking for a new opportunity.
 
Reporting into the Head of Operations this is a newly created and exciting Stand-Alone HR Manager role, supporting the UK and US sites on all operational HR areas. The role will encompass all day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, ER, starters leavers, supporting the senior leadership team, HR advice and guidance, executing people focused policies, programmes and processes. Key responsibilities and duties include;
 
-Working in a stand-alone capacity managing all areas of HR, supporting 50 employees across UK and international sites (mostly UK)
-Generalist HR role covering all day-to-day operational HR
-Instigate and manage key HR/management processes, including performance management, compensation management and talent management
-Support, coach and develop people managers in the delivery of HR policies and processes
-Provide advice and guidance on ER issues, including performance review, employment law advice, disciplinary and grievances
-Drive the talent management process for talent identification, development and retention
-Support on compensation and benefits structure
-Participate in cross-functional project work and continuous improvement
-Annual review of company HR policies, procedures, contracts, handbooks and HR best practice.
-Support and lead on recruitment, including writing job specs, screening CV’s, arranging and attending interviews and taking references
-Assist in employer brand initiatives
-All day-to-day HR matters including HR administration, produce and issue offer letters, contracts of employment, reference requests, right to work checks and changes to terms and conditions documentation etc
-Manage the HR system and ensure that all documentation is present, including adding new joiner induction, probation, performance reviews, development plans, salary reviews and exit interviews
-Manage holidays and sick leave, coordinating with payroll on pay related matters
-Prepare and produce HR management information, including staff turnover, sick leave and pay
-Revise and update existing policies on an annual basis

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally have exposure working for an SME in a stand-alone capacity. Candidates will need have experience within a creative industry or similar.
 
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the excellent influencing and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
