Job purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our rapidly growing, international organisation with a true people focus. You will be responsible for driving the HR strategy for the imaging division and will manage a small HR team based in our Head Office in Bellshill.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and drive the imaging HR strategy
- Drive key Learning and Development objectives throughout imaging, such as talent retention and graduate and management development
- Management of Learning and Development Annual Training Plan and budget in accordance with our ISO 9001 and Investors in People accreditations
- Working with Senior Leadership team to embed values and culture across imaging
- Support the business with the development and implementation of a clear CSR/ESG strategy
- Working with Management and Senior Management on complex Employee Relations issues
- Support the business from an HR perspective with integration of newly acquired businesses
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees
- Manage Peakon employee engagement system data and develop employee engagement initiatives
- Oversee payroll process for UK, Ireland, and South Africa
- Oversee the recruitment process for imaging and work with group HR team to ensure the proper process is followed
- Management of key benefits, including company pension scheme, private healthcare scheme and life assurance
- Monthly HR reporting to CEO and group level.
- Be the key HR contact for our Investors in People accreditation and manage projects associate with this
- Support and develop the HR team members
- Keep up to date with any changes in HR and employment legislation
- Be a member of the Health and Safety committee to support the company to ensure compliance with all H&S requirements for the Bellshill site
- Support with HR Transformation projects within imaging and the wider group
Education/ experience
- CIPD Qualified
- Previous experience in an HR Management or HR generalist role
- A good knowledge of UK employment law
- Some knowledge of employment law in Ireland would be advantageous
- Previous experience working in a stand-alone role or small team would be advantageous
- Previous experience working in an HR function in an international business would be advantageous
