We have partnered exclusively with an established and growing global software business and they are recruiting for a Head of People to join the business.
 
Ideally candidates will be immediate or on a short notice period, although candidates on a longer notice will also be considered.
 
The organisation has exciting growth plans and has delivered 20% growth year on year, with plans to expand further across the UK, Europe and North America. This role encompasses both strategic and operational HR support, whilst leading on a number of strategic HR projects.
 
Reporting into the CEO, the role will hold responsibility for managing and leading the People function for this business, both in the UK and internationally. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Work as part of the senior leadership team, leading a HR team of 5-7 people and supporting c1000 employees across the UK, Europe and North America.
-Design, develop and implement the People strategy in line with the budget and group business plan.
-Creation, roll out and management for all strategic and motivational people programmes.
-Lead and deliver on key strategic HR projects, including global mobility, employee engagement, hybrid working models, organisation development & design, change management and global HR initiatives
-Ensure People plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation
-Lead organisational change and the creation and implementation of strategic HR policies and programmes.
-Direct talent management projects and initiating change management processes, to facilitate business growth programmes.
-The ability to inspire confidence of the CEO and senior team through timely delivery of information and plans.
-Able to provide HR support, coaching and guidance across both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach
-Support the business on senior level HR matters for UK and international offices
-Partner with line managers to understand and support the career development of colleagues.
-Maintain an overview of on-going training initiatives and recommend new training initiatives
-Lead, motivate, develop and continuously improve the HR team

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold CIPD Level 7. Experience of working for growing global organisations would be an advantage.
 
Candidates will need to hold strong strategic and operational HR experience, with proven commercial experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to convey the business story, share clear messages and make complex ideas easy to understand.
