We are working with an established law firm, and they are recruiting for a HR Administrator to join the team ASAP.

Working as part of a team of 10 in HR, the role will support the HRBP’s and HR Advisors with all generalist areas of HR administration. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates keen to develop a career in HR, as you will have exposure to all areas of HR and have the support of an experienced team.

Ideally candidates will have 6-12 months HR administration experience, or alternatively have a HR degree or studying towards CIPD (or similar), with proven administration experience. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

Support the HR team in handling general HR enquiries and providing appropriate advice, support, and information to staff under the HRBP’s supervision
Respond to general HR inbox queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely manner, assigned/escalated as appropriate
Administer the joiner / leaver processes including all documentation, induction processes and exit interviews
Produce new contracts, contractual change letters and employment documentation as required
Support with the monthly payroll process by collating relevant documentation (employment contracts, contract changes etc) and adding to payroll folders 
Maintain and update the electronic personnel files (and paper as appropriate) containing all employment-related information including contact details, remuneration, absence, holidays, equality, and diversity
Support the cyclical management information and reporting processes including producing data in Excel and reports from the HR database (Cascade)
Update the HR sections of the staff intranet as and when required
Assist with the staff appraisal process including checking forms are completed and signed forms are saved on Cascade
Assist with the annual salary review process e.g., checking figures and assisting with production of letters to staff

Ideally candidates will have exposure to HR administration and be keen to develop within this field, it would be an advantage to be studying towards CIPD (although not essential).
