We have partnered exclusively with an established and growing global software business and they are recruiting for a HR Administrator / HR Assistant to join the business.
 
This is a graduate role, and they are looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates who are looking for a career in Human Resources. Ideally you will have achieved a 2.1 or 1st degree in a subject transferable to a career in HR and from a reputable UK university. Some HR experience would be ideal, although candidates with a willingness to learn, strong IT skills and passion for HR will also be considered.

Reporting into the Head of People, the role will be responsible for providing generalist HR support, in addition to providing and managing the HRIS system, preparing HR analytics and key HR reporting information. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Reporting into the Head of People, working as part of a team of 4 responsible for providing generalist HR support and responsible for HR reporting and analysis
-Produce and prepare key HR reports and HR Analysis on key metrics for business information
-Act as a super-user on the system, including develop and maintain an expert understanding of HRIS data, processes and systems
-Prepare and provide advice and guidance on how to interpret and understand HRIS generated data
-Perform compensation benchmarking, analysis and documentation of market data to support on-going benchmarking to support the business, ensure current salary data and general market overview is provided
-Analysis of people data; such as retention data, gender pay gap information, absence, recruitment statistics and year-end feedback analysis
-Deal with 1st line HR queries from the business, advising on HR policies and HR procedures.
-Manage the full employee life-cycle, including starters and leavers, HR administration and recruitment
-Prepare benefits and salary information
-Support with training administration
-HR administration and updating employee HR records
-Support the HR Advisor with note-taking at ER meetings
-Support the Head of People and HR Advisor with key HR projects
-Maintenance of HR database, records, and systems

For this role candidates will need to have a passion for HR, hold a relevant university degree and have strong IT skills (MS Excel, and data reporting / analysis experience). It would be a distinct advantage to have some previous HR experience or otherwise be able to demonstrate work experience that has transferable skills for this role i.e., placement year or working whilst studying.
 
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to both prepare and interpret key HR data and information is essential. Candidates will be looking for a rounded HR role that offers scope to develop and take on more responsibility.
