Job Description

Are you an experienced IFA/Mortgage Adviser looking for a new opportunity?

Would you like to join a well-established IFA firm with hundreds of loyal clients to service and develop leads from? 

This is an opportunity to join a Company that was established over 30 years ago.  As a Chartered IFA firm they provide advice in all areas of financial and investment planning. Mortgage advice. They have a longstanding client base, and act for both individuals and businesses. 

As the Mortgage Adviser within the firm, you will be responsible for advising the existing clients about their general financial planning, mortgages and life cover options. In addition to servicing the existing client base, a proportion of your time will be spent developing new professional contacts as well as developing leads from your own sources.  The role involves researching clients’ mortgage and protection options, advising accordingly and liaising between them, the lender and other interested parties.  There is a database of existing clients which you can work from and update as you progress.  

The job is results-driven with administration support provided, which will allow you to focus on what you do best and earn an excellent level of remuneration.

Someone who has at least three years of mortgage and general advising experience You will be a naturally confident communicator, driven and self-motivated   

They place great importance on training, and you would be required to attend ongoing training courses and seminars to expand your knowledge and keep up to date with any legislative changes and requirements to trade 

Additional Information

Employed package with a basic salary, commission target structure based on performance and discretionary bonus, auto-enrolment pension, healthcare, 24 days holiday, exam support.

Essential Skills

Ideally have at least of three years’ mortgage and general advising experience. 

Exceptional applicants with less than three years could be considered if you can demonstrate the abilities required to take on this senior role.

Dip4/CeMAP/CII (or equivalent) qualified

A proactive approach, organised, able to take ownership of your work and meet deadlines and targets.
