We are working with a well-established and leading accountancy firm, and they are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the business ASAP.
 
The role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor looking for a new opportunity with a well-established business, or a more junior HR candidate looking for a step up, as full support can be provided.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
 
This role is a busy position and responsible for providing HR support on a range of generalist areas and they need candidates who are confident, hold proven generalist HR experience and who can build relationships with internal stakeholders.
 
Reporting into the HR Director and providing support to c280 employees, the focus of the role is to support the business across HR advisory and performance management areas, coaching and upskilling managers, and managing HR processes across the whole of the employment life cycle. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a team of 4, providing HR support to 280 employees across 2 locations.
-Provide in-house HR advice and support, ensuring that all company policies and processes are consistently applied and that all HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.
-Managing ER cases (all day to day, grievances and disciplinaries) and supporting managers with performance management, including coaching, advice, guidance and upskilling managers
-Support on HR administration, on-boarding and the full employee lifecycle
-Assist when required on recruitment activities, including preparing job descriptions, job advertisements (internal and external), interviewing, offer letters, contracts of employment, contract amendments etc
-Overseeing and monitoring staff performance, career development and appraisal processes
-Support on L&D, including designing and expanding the training offering, appraisal and competency work frames and effective induction programmes
-Review the application and implementation of HR policies to help ensure that these are in line with best practice and current legislation, and reviewed as part of wider HR strategy
-Prepare payroll information, providing key people related figures to the finance team
-Assisting the HR Director on various HR projects, including Diversity & Inclusion, Mental health initiatives, embedding culture values and reviewing key and new HR policies.

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold experience within a similar sector i.e. professional services, accountancy or law firms (although all industries will be considered).
 
Candidates will need to hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working in a busy and autonomous HR role. Excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility.
