We are working with a well-established legal firm, and they are looking for a keen and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join the business ASAP.
 
The role would be ideal for HR candidates with c2 years’ experience, who are looking to work for a growing professional business, working as part of an experienced HR team. The role is truly generalist and will have exposure to all areas of the employee life cycle, with great scope to develop and take on more responsibility. The firm will also support candidates studying towards CIPD Qualification.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
 
Reporting into the HR Manager and providing support to c250 employees across multi-sites, the focus of the role is to provide generalist HR administration support to the business and HR team, working in a fast paced and busy role. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into HR Manager and supporting the HR Officer, working as part of a team of 4.
-Provide generalist HR administration support, including on-boarding, off-boarding, recruitment, HR systems, payroll and benefits and L&D.
-Manage the HR Inbox and deal with 1st line HR queries from employees and stakeholders, escalating if necessary
-Be fully conversant with the Firm’s Staff Handbook and advise staff and partners on any procedural queries as appropriate
-Assist with ensuring an efficient and appropriate end-to-end recruitment process for all employment applications received, including advertising, shortlisting, organising interviews and tests, offer letters and on-boarding
-Manging the joiner and leaver processes
-Support on Training activities, including course bookings, managing professional memberships and renewals
-Manage and update the HR system, including maintaining records, producing monthly HR reports, audits and maintain the system.
-Payroll & benefits coordination, including inputting accurate people data, adding joiners and leavers, liaise with benefit providers and monthly payroll submissions.
-Ad-hoc HR projects work and supporting the HR Manager and Head of HR.

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR Administration experience and ideally hold experience within a similar sector i.e. law firm, accountancy practice, professional services, or financial services etc (although all industries will be considered).
 
A confident, professional, and outgoing approach is required, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with stakeholders across the business and written communications must be highly accurate.
