We are working with a fast-growing services business based in south London, and they are looking for an experienced Head of HR to join the business ASAP.
 
The role would be ideal for a seasoned HR Manager or HR Business Partner who is looking for a step up, or an experienced Head of HR looking for a busy and varied role with a growing business.
 
Reporting into the Chief People Officer and providing support to c300-500 employees across multi-site, the focus of the role is to provide a operational and strategic HR service, driving change, performance and transformation across the business.
 
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Head of HR will provide leadership to drive excellence in human resources initiatives that align with the vision and values within the businesses culture. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into the CPO and working as part of the senior team, overseeing 6 people and providing HR support to c350 permanent employees and c200 contractors across 4 main UK sites.
-Provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
-Advise and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the company.
-Lead on TUPE for all new company acquisitions or contracts, including assisting business development with TUPE advice and calculations for bids
-Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
-Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety).
-Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and ---------Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
-Identify new programmes to support training and development needs of business in consultation with line management and board.
-Manage overall management & leadership development training calendar for the group, partner on marketing strategy to communicate programmes to employees.
-Build and implement a talent management process.
-Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
-Execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
-Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
-Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
-Support and lead on a number of key HR projects and initiatives, including implementation of new HR system, review and improve the onboarding process, training offering and company branding and core values.

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold experience within a sector that is high growth / constantly changing / fast upscales due to winning contracts / high performance driven etc.
 
This role is both operational and strategic, so candidates will need to be able to implement an effective HR strategy, whilst being hands on with operational HR. Candidates will need to hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working in a busy, fast paced and autonomous HR role. Excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
