Head of Commercial Insurance Sales – Manchester

Salary to 80k DOE, + Bonus and Flexible Benefits   

Our client is a Major National Broker and Now due to continue growth they are looking for an Experienced Commercial Broker to Head the Commercial Sales Team and have Overall responsibility for the new business and cross sales targets of Development Executives.

Given the profile of clients you will be dealing with, you will have extensive knowledge of the commercial broking market and be very comfortable dealing with senior business directors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at senior level and play an integral part in the ambitious growth plans they have in place for the future.

Overview of the position  

                     Provide excellent customer service and sales support  

                     Provide excellent broking support where required

                     Ensure new initiatives for securing new business are adopted and successfully implemented within the branches/sales offices. Actively engage in the company marketing strategy. Work in conjunction with the Account Executives

                     Ensure the branch achieves the required rate of retention.

                     Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and always promote exceptional                         customer care standards

                     Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and ensure expert advice in all areas of business worked

                     Initiate and maintain successful professional relationships with external bodies to improve and enhance the services provided.

                     Develop and maintain effective and valuable relationships with insurers and underwriters for the benefit of the company and its clients.

                     To ensure regular and effective communication within your teams and with other directors

Knowledge/experience

                     Proven successful management in a volume insurance environment

                     An insurance background with broking knowledge.

                     Proven management ability.

                     Excellent technical knowledge.

                     Good academic qualifications, CII Qualifications desirable  

                     Experience within a similar role.
