We are working with an established and growing architecture firm, and they are recruiting for an experienced Bid Assistant to join the business.
 
Reporting into the Bid Manager and working as part of a team of 3, the focus of the role will be to support the business with a range of UK and International high profile / high value bids. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Working as part of a growing bid team and reporting into the Bid Manager, supporting the business with new business proposals - both UK and International
-Preparing and coordinating bid submissions
-Preparing new business bids and providing support to the business development team and partners
-Writing bids, preparing bid documents, preparing bid presentations, assisting with filling out of client questionnaires and gaining key information for the customer and successful bids etc
-Sourcing, pulling together and compiling key company information / data / relevant information for bids
-Proofreading and editing bid content, and suggesting relevant improvements where necessary
-Identifying, monitoring, and reporting of tender opportunities and current bids in process
-Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company bid process
-Supporting the Bid Manager throughout the bid process

For this role candidates will need to have proven Bid experience at this level and ideally hold industry experience within architecture, construction (or similar industry) and creative processors.
 
An understanding of the design and procurement process and a knowledge of contractual matters would be an advantage. Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign is required (or similar software’s).
 
Candidates must be self-disciplined, entrepreneurial, and confident in a creative environment, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential, as well as a talent for writing concisely and clearly.
