The Candidate

Looking for an experienced HR generalist with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join an established and growing company.  This is a stand-alone role, and the successful candidate is likely to be an ambitious HR Advisor looking for progression and a role they can develop and make their own!

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Demonstrable generalist HR experience including evidence of dealing with complex HR/ER issues. 
- CIPD qualified to level 5 or working towards the CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment or similar is a must.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and develop good strong working relations with people at all levels.
- A strong sense of humour with a high level of passion, motivation, and pride.
- The tenacity, integrity, and passion to deliver an exceptional HR service
- A can do and proactive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Excellent organisational skills, a confident individual who can implement change
- Excellent business acumen
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft applications  
- Proven ability to operate independently and take the initiative
- Ability to analyse, interpret and deliver data and information in an accurate, fair and concise manner
- Ability to influence key decision makers and to challenge when necessary

- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and use own initiative

Job Summary:

- To be responsible for providing professional and comprehensive HR Support and advice to the organisation
- Providing HR support in all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, payroll, absence management, performance management, training and development, employee relations, employee engagement, onboarding and offboarding and the development and updating of policies and procedures.To work closely with the management team to develop HR initiatives to improve staff retention, employee satisfaction, employee engagement and training and development, ensuring this is available to enable employees to reach their full potential.
- To provide an HR Advisory and Coaching service to all stakeholders
- To support the embedding of the company vision and values and ensure all employees fully understand their role in achieving the company vision.
