Our clients are a highly regarded investment and pensions advisory firm established in 2010 who are part of a wider Group of Financial Advisers. Due to promotion require a Senior Paraplanner/Manager. 

Role Title: Senior Paraplanner / Manager

The role requires the individual to be currently QCF Level 4 qualified with QCF Level 6 underway (support in achieving this level will be provided if required).  

Main Responsibilities:

The position would suit an experienced individual who would be required to analyse clients’ needs to the highest level and write client reports.  

The position requires good technical knowledge in Pension Switching and Transfers, investment portfolios, and an awareness of financial markets.  

The role is challenging, requiring someone who can interact directly with the Management team and staff and provide first class financial advice support to the firm’s advisors. They will provide a pooled resource to approx. 4-5 Advisors. Clients are ultra-high net worth individuals. Business owners, Inherited wealth. Main point of contact and support to all Advisors regarding the firm’s clients personal financial planning needs.

Experience in using a wide range of software tools, research practices and processes of analysis to create financial plans. Taking the lead in developing a close and trust-based relationship with the Advisors / Management, members of the inhouse team and clients. Development of relationships with third party providers and fund management firms is also a key part of this role. Providing the firm with a “Planning Champion” role and supporting technical colleagues with all aspects of their own personal development needs. There will be career progression opportunities to develop into Advisor / Managerial roles. Required Experience: Full Financial Planning Cash Flow Modelling Investments Pensions – pre retirement Pensions – post retirement Pension Transfers Estate Planning and IHT 

Systems: Intelligent Office (iO) – Candidate MUST have experience of and ideally a skilled user 

The role would suit an individual who has a strong background in Technical Paraplanning who wants to progress into management.

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (neg dependent on experience and qualifications)
