Reporting into the Operations Director, the focus of the role will be to support the performance of the operations function, by providing and interpreting key manufacturing data pulled from their ERP system (Syspro), support with improvements on procedures and planning by effective use of data from their ERP system and work with team leaders to ensure efficiency across the manufacturing process. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

 

-Report into the Operations Director, working in a stand-alone capacity

-Fully understand and develop the ERP system (Syspro) and implement system changes and operational improvements

-Manage the release of sales order demand into the factory

-Printing of production batches for the factory and issuing the job packs

-Collect and assess data about productivity and performance, providing key reports for the business

-Manage and implement ERP by contributing to resource planning

-Prepare reports about production processes for Senior Management and suggest ways to improve efficiency

-Produce and deliver production plans based on both actual and predicted orders

-Support the introduction of new products and continuous improvement programs

-Ensure software works as efficiently as possible

For this role candidates must have a good understanding of the manufacturing process and be confident using and improving ERP’s. Strong system and reporting skills are essential, with the ability to interpret the data to improve business performance.

 

Ideally candidates will have used Syspro (or similar), although candidates with strong systems / manufacturing / planning / production experience will also be considered.
