We are exclusively assisting a growing and reputable design and communications agency based in London, with the recruitment of an experienced HR Consultant, responsible for implementing an effective Talent Management Strategy.
 
The role will be for c9-12 months on a fixed contract, although may be longer.
 
Reporting into the CEO, and working in collaboration with the HR function, the focus of the role will be to develop and implement an effective talent management strategy to be used company-wide in a consistent approach, supporting them to attract the best talent and be seen as an employer of choice. This will include Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, L&D, Training, Retention and Diversity & Inclusion. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Assess, design, and implement an effective talent management strategy across the business - 130 employees across 4 locations - London, New York, India
-Identifying the organisation’s needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
-Working with senior leaders, operations, finance, and HR to assist with talent development and acquisition
-Organising and overseeing individual and team training programmes, including identifying, recommending, and sourcing suitable training providers
-Planning regular employee performance reviews and feeding back to the business, including following up on progress against KPI’s with line managers.
-Developing and implementing employee retention programmes or strategies
-Working with a partner agency to oversee and own the development of the employer brand, including a clear articulation of its employee value proposition (EVP).
-Developing effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce
-Understanding the current recruitment trends and markets to identify the impact upon the business
-Anticipating the organisations future and working with senior leaders to advise on recruiting tactics that will help sustain the company’s success
-Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business
-Developing and implementing a process for reporting on staff turnover rates
-Managing and delivering reports and data when required
-Developing a specification and hiring for a longer-term Talent Manager role to implement the strategy long-term.

For this role candidates will need to have proven experience at this level, including strong HR and Talent Management at a strategic and operational level. Ideally candidates will be CIPD Qualified and have experience working within communications, design, or similar creative industries (although not essential).
 
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate experience designing, developing, and supporting organisation-wide talent management programs, that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role.
