We are working with a well-established Retail company based in south London, and they are looking for an experienced HR Professional to lead their Shared Service HR Administration team ASAP.
 
This is a part-time role for 4 days and is hybrid - 3 days home working and 1 day office based.
 
The role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor or seasoned HR Professional with shared service experience (HR Admin / HR Operations), looking for a new opportunity with a well-established business.
 
Reporting into the Head of HR and leading a team of 2 people, the focus of the role is to support the business with HR administration support and manage the on-boarding and off-boarding process. In addition, you will also be involved with generalist HR and wider HR project work. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into the Head of HR and leading a team of 2, providing HR support to c100 retail stores and 950 employees. Working as part of a larger HR team.
-Providing a comprehensive HR administration service on the full on-boarding, off-boarding process, and employee lifecycle.
-Management of the new starter administrative process, including right to work checking and issuing of all paperwork, inc. contracts and uploading information to the HRMS.
-Management of the off-boarding and leaver processes.
-Management of monthly payroll submission to include pre-commit and post-run error reporting.
-Management of the HRMS, to ensure colleague profiles are maintained and accurately updated.
-Management of all HR Administrative paperwork, to include all contract change, family friendly leave, flexible working paperwork and any other ad hoc requests.
-Supporting Head Office line managers and senior leadership team population for all employee lifecycle activity.
-Supporting the Head of HR / Senior HRBP with benefits and incentives management.
-Management of the HR Administrator and HR Administrative Assistant.
-Ad-hoc reporting and project support for the Head of HR.
-Management of department SLA’s / KPI’s where applicable.
-Meet all quarterly, monthly, and weekly reporting deadlines.

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience and be confident leading a small team, ideally be CIPD Qualified and have experience working in a fast past shared service HR administration environment. Ideally candidates will have experience within Retail, FMCG or similar industry, although this is not essential for candidates that have proven shared service experience in any industry.
 
Candidates will need to hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working in a busy and autonomous HR role. Excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility.
