Commercial /Corporate Account Handling Insurance Team Leader –Watford 
Salary up to £55,000 DOE + Bonus, Flex benefits, Hybrid Working and Interest Free Season Travel Loans 

Our client is a leading National Insurance Brokers who have been trading for over 30 years and due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an Experienced Commercial Insurance Team Leader for the Corporate Account Handling Division within the Business 

This key role, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the performance of a Commercial /Corporate Insurance team, engendering a culture of pride and belief in service excellence and supported by efficient and effective processes.  

This will involve more than just identifying individual development needs. You will be actively engaging your team in a process of continuous improvement and supporting them in pursuit of ambitious performance and productivity targets.  

Key to your success will be your natural people skills, positive attitude and exemplary behaviours, along with your experience and/or ability for leading, managing and developing teams to optimise relationships and exceed targets. .

What you will be doing
Lead, develop and drive a team of Commercial /Corporate Account Handlers, who deal with all classes of commercial Insurance.
Act as an effective coach/mentor to direct reports to drive performance. 
Ensure the effective execution of agreed claims processes & procedures. 
Contribute to the delivery of the agreed performance plan in respect of all required KPI's. 
Use data & other tools to develop initiatives to improve technical control and drive customer service. 
Review & improve processes within the team. 
Ensure an effective performance management process.
What We require
A Background of Commercial / Corporate Insurance is essential for this role. Knowledge of the claims process would be an advantage but is not essential.
Previous experience of leading a team is essential. 
Ability to assess and manage performance within the team.
Motivational leadership qualities essential.
Sound numerical & analytical skills.
Ability to achieve delivery of results through others.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
