Insurance – Compliance Officer – Remote/ Hybrid Working – Monthly visits to the office 
Location – Office is based in Birmingham

Our client is a Leading Independent Insurance Broker who has been trading over 10 years and due to continued growth is now looking to add to the business and Experienced Insurance compliance Officer 
 
Overview of the Position - 
Responsible for the supervision, training, and performance of the Brokers employees in accordance company policies and procedures 
Responsible to support and promote company policies and procedures to the company's business clients & insurance carriers
Conducting interviews and reviews to ensure that employees are compliant with regulations across the Brokers various departments 
Investigating of any compliance issues when they arise  
Leading the continued Professional Development of employees  
Examining and improving auditing processes 
Holding reviews and Meetings with employees and Directors to address any concerns that they may have about compliance matters   
Motivating employees to meet compliance standards, and to exceed them for operating efficiency  
Key Skills/Experience Required: 
Experience of working within a commercial insurance environment in a similar role, either for an insurer or Broker.
Management experience essential 
Insurance qualifications desirable 
Solid understanding of the General Insurance Market
Good influencing, listening and communication skills.
Excellent time management and organisation skills 
Have excellent presentation skills to the Board and Employees
You will have ability to build strong and trusted relationships 
Competent use of IT and software
