You will be responsible for providing HR support on a range of generalist areas and they need candidates who are confident, able to work autonomously and can build relationships with stakeholders.

Working as part of a regional team and supporting a client group of c80 employees across 2 sites (Birmingham and Coventry), the focus of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the HR function, providing advice and guidance across the full employment life cycle i.e., from recruitment, ER cases, coaching and up-skilling managers, through to employee exit. Key duties will include;

-Working as part of a busy regional HR team reporting into the HR Manager
-Generalist HR role, responsible for a client group of c80 employees across 2 sites - Birmingham and Coventry.

-Work with managers to identify appropriate learning and development interventions to support upskilling, coaching and bridging of learning gaps
-Be the point of contact to stakeholders and provide HR advice and guidance across all areas of generalist HR.
-Support and advise on HR policies, procedures and HR best practice, ensuring HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with UK Employment law and Company requirements

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold or be studying towards CIPD qualification. Experience within a similar sector would be advantageous - Logistics, Transport, Manufacturing or Engineering etc, although this is not essential. The client group is predominantly blue collar, so all sectors would be considered if relevant HR experience across a varied similar sized client group can be demonstrated.

Supporting a client group over 2 sites, you will be responsible for fully managing your own diary and supporting the business - ideally you will spend 1 day on each site per week (so 2 days on site and 3 days home based). It is essential that candidates can drive and have access to a car.
