Our client is a leading Independent Insurance Broker who has been trading for over 40 years and they are now due to continued growth are looking for an Commercial Account Handler to add to the team   

This is a unique position as our client is open to Existing Handlers who are looking for their next step in their career or you want to move up from Personal Lines handling to a Commercial Handling position 

Our client trades on an open market policy allowing access to all markets to provide the client base with the most competitive terms and cover available on the market.

This is an exciting roll which will include the day-to-day handling of the existing portfolio of business and in addition looking at new business opportunities as they arise.

• Build strong relationships with clients

• Understand all of their general insurance needs across Commercial Combined, Goods in transit, Liability, Commercial Fleet and Haulier, Professional Indemnity   

• Dealing with premiums of £5000 – £500,000

• Liaise with insurers to find the best deal for your client

• Present the options back to your client and close the deal

A strong background of General Insurance

• CII Qualified desirable 

• Live within commutable distance of the office or happy to relocate

• Experience with the Acturis trading platform desirable 

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
