 We are working with a growing and successful insurance company based in the city and they are looking to recruit an experienced HR Professional to join the business ASAP.
 
This would either be a 1-year fixed contract to permanent, or straight permanent. The role us to start ASAP, so candidates will need to be available on short notice.
 
This is a hybrid role – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
 
Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a team of 6, overseeing 1 person, the role will provide support to c500 employees across UK and international offices. This is a key role within the HR team and is responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR business processes and procedures, overseeing the operational management of the core employment lifecycle, payroll and benefits. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Providing HR support for c500 employees (UK and International offices) across operational HR, payroll and benefits
-Leading on HR policy & process, payroll, benefits, HR systems, MI reporting and working on various HR projects, whilst supporting the senior team
-Work with HR team to review, map out and improve global processes and procedures within HR
-Review and renew company policies and processors, in line with stature and best process and ensure HR standard operating procedures are kept up to date in line with process changes
-Review and suggest improvements to existing HR operational processes
-Supporting on various HR projects, including novation of local payrolls to two main suppliers pay review process, Diversity & Inclusion, culture surveys, gender pay gap etc
-Support with administration of global secondment and mobility processes.
-Review and map out joiners, movers, leavers process and then work with wider HR team to optimise colleague experience of recruitment, induction, performance, through creative thinking
-Responsible for the timely and accurate production of key reports/data and MI, on both a routine and ad-hoc basis
-Provide coverage and support, for project activities to all members of the HR team
-Manage and oversee payroll requirements and process for the UK /and international offices in conjunction with outsourced payroll teams.
-Manage company benefits, including keep track of renewal timelines and act as the key point of contact for colleague benefits in conjunction with local outsourced partners
-Administer and update Workday, including working with Systems Accountant/Administrator to enable system enhancements, ensuring accuracy of data.
-Be the first point of contact for auditors / work with finance throughout payroll audits
-Work with 3rd party partners to deliver and monitor service levels of outsourced services and support activity.
 
For this role candidates will need to have proven operational HR experience at this level and ideally hold CIPD. Candidates from all industries will be considered with the relevant experience.
 
In addition to HR experience, payroll and benefits reporting experience will be required. Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and strong communicator skills are essential for this role, as you will be dealing internally and externally with people at all levels
