We are working with a well-established and fast growing not for profit business, and they are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the business ASAP.
 
This role is a hybrid role - 1 day in the office and 4 days from home (with ad-hoc additional meetings on-site when needed).
 
The role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor, or HR Generalist who has worked in a generalist HR role looking for a new opportunity with a well-established business.
 
This role is a busy position and responsible for providing HR support on a range of generalist areas and they need candidates who are confident, hold strong advisory / ER experience and can build relationships with stakeholders.
 
Working as part of a busy HR team of 6 people and supporting a dedicated client group of c90 employees across 2 sites, the focus of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the HR function, providing advice and guidance across the full employment life cycle i.e., from recruitment, ER cases, coaching and up-skilling managers, through to employee exit. Key duties will include;
 
-Working as part of a busy HR team reporting into the senior HR Advisor
-Generalist HR role, responsible for a client group of c90 employees across 2 sites - Trowbridge and Melksham
-Work with managers to identify appropriate learning and development interventions to support upskilling, coaching, and bridging of learning gaps
-Be the point of contact to stakeholders and provide HR advice and guidance across all areas of generalist HR.
-Support and advise on HR policies, procedures, and HR best practice, ensuring HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with UK Employment law and Company requirements
-Support managers with all areas of Employee Relations, including managing absence and sickness, capability, disciplinary, grievances, and day to day ER matters
-Enable business change by offering consultancy services on change management TUPE, redundancy, and restructures.
-Provide support to managers on performance, including manage and administer probationary periods and annual appraisals.
-Promote equality and diversity across the Group, and ensure working practices are inclusive.
-Review HR metrics on a monthly basis, identify hot spots and implement new approaches to make improvements.
-Hold regular meetings with managers to update them on HR developments, review their HR metrics and discuss any people related matters.
-Work with the learning and development team on the design of people related training courses.
-Support the recruitment team on a range of recruitment activities, including interviewing when required

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold or be studying towards CIPD qualification. The client group is predominantly blue collar, so all sectors would be considered if relevant HR experience across a varied similar sized client group can be demonstrated.
 
Supporting a client group over 2 sites, you will work on-site for 1 day and 4 days from home, although you may need to attend ad-hoc onsite meetings when required. It is essential that candidates can drive and have access to a car.
