We are working with an established and growing food production business, and they are recruiting for a HR & Recruitment Administrator to join the business.
 
This role is for a 1-year fixed contract to start ASAP.
 
Reporting into the HR Lead and working as part of a team of 3, the role will have responsibility for managing all areas of generalist HR and recruitment administration. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Working as part of a team of 3, providing support to c180 employees
-Managing and supporting the business with volume recruitment - c15 + roles at any time.
-Provide administration support to the HR Manager where required and participate in HR projects and day to day HR matters
-Managing the starter / leaver process, including inductions and probation reviews
-Providing support across the full employee lifecycle.
-Liaison with the business on recruitment needs and writing job descriptions, drafting, and placing advertisements, shortlisting CV’s, arranging, and attending interviews
-Managing the offer process, obtaining references, sending out offer letters, doing relevant checks
-Producing regular HR reports, including holiday, sickness, and key HR information
-Support with ER cases, including giving advice, coaching and guidance to line managers
-Maintaining appropriate records and databases including inputting and updating records
-First point of contact for HR and recruitment queries
-Provide support to Directors, including secretarial duties, booking meetings, organising conferences and events etc

For this role candidates will ideally have a grounding in recruitment and HR administration and be looking to pursue a career within HR.
 
Excellent communication skills are essential, and the ability manage your worn workload this is a fast paced and hands on position.
 
This would be ideal for an individual looking to develop a longer-term career within HR, as there is excellent scope to take on more responsibility and be involved with all aspects of HR.
