Commercial Insurance Account Handler – Shrewsbury
Base Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE + uncapped Commission OTE 45k year 1

Our client is a fast-growing commercial insurance broker based in Shrewsbury, servicing clients throughout the UK. They are further looking to expand our 50+ strong team by adding several experienced internal salespeople who have proven sales experience, ideally within an insurance or financial services environment.

They provide insurance solutions to businesses of all sizes in many sectors. The main insurance products include commercial motor, fleet, motor trade, commercial property, commercial combined, tradesmen and liabilities. They have a full suite of additional products such as a GAP and breakdown, which you will expected to sell alongside the main policy.

You will be motivated, driven and have the vision to succeed. They are a highly compliant and regulated business meaning you must learn products to provide accurate and good advice, upholding our reputation for excellent customer service. You must have great rapport building skills and natural sales ability, able to overcome objections with ease. You will only ever be presented with WARM leads, so No Cold Calling! 

The roles key tasks
Effectively working pipeline through their CRM system
High attention to detail, able to read policy wordings and outline clear terms to clients
Excellent ability and accuracy when keying in data into CRM’s and portals
Ability to find opportunities to generate leads from existing clients and cross sell additional products where the main policy has gaps in cover
Key person skills
Ability to listen and understand client demands and needs.
Able to outline policy features and benefits to generate action.
Able to ask open questions to get a greater understand of client businesses.
Great communication skills, teamworking skills, and natural ability to self-manage.
Dependable, honest, and compliant nature.  
 
Experience
A proven track record in sales in Insurance or a Financial Regulated Industry
