We are working with a well-established and international business, and they are recruiting for a HR Administrator.
 
For this role it is essential that candidate can speak and write fluent Japanese.
 
Working as part of a busy team of 7 people in HR and supporting the International HR Advisor, the role will focus on supporting a Japanese client group of c40 employees, and then supporting on an ad-hoc basis the wider group (c200 employees). This will include administration around HR and payroll, supplier invoicing, updating employee details, HR queries, Payroll, Tax and Benefits administration. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Provide support to the Japanese client group - including dealing with verbal and written communication in Japanese.
-Update the HR system and day to day HR administration
-Prepare payroll and benefit reports, including any changes, inputting salary and tax details
-Manage purchase orders registering new suppliers and dealing with queries from the finance team
-Assist and administer the expenses system and produce reports where necessary, also be a point of contact for expenses queries.
-Manage and update company credit cards, dealing with any queries
-Prepare Expats Tax information and administration around this.
-Maintain the HR and payroll database including input of starters, leavers and employee and organisational changes
-Any ad-hoc HR and administration activities

For this role candidates must have strong Japanese language skills (verbal and written) and ideally have HR administration experience. Candidates with strong administration experience will also be considered, if they have the required language experience, as training can be provided.
 
Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent administration / MS Excel skills and be able to use their own initiative in this fast paced and busy role.
