We are working with a well-established and leading Law firm, and they are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the business ASAP.
 
The role would be ideal for an experienced HR Manager, who has proven experience within the legal industry or similar professional services firm.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 3 days from home and 2 days in the office.
 
Reporting into the Head of HR the focus of the role will be to support the business with comprehensive HR consultation, guidance, and support across all areas of HR. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into the Head of HR and leading a team of 5 people
-Be the main point of contact, supporting Partners, and the senior stakeholders on a range of HR issues, procedures, and policies
-Support with the people strategy and working with the senior team to ensure effective delivery
-Provide coaching and guidance on HR policies and processors, and in line with regulatory standards
-Review and keep updated the firms HR policies and procedures including absence, benefits, and compensation.
-Prepares and interpret key HR statistics and management reports, ensuring compliance with firm-wide reporting requirements and protocols.
-Provide support on change management, including restructures, redundancies etc
-Provide support with professional recruitment, interviewing, assessment, and placement for location allied professional positions, including ensuring correct drafting and handling of employment contracts and any changes to those contracts over time.
-Oversee compensation and reward programs, including overseeing payroll activities
-Provides coaching and guidance on matters related to employee relations and performance management
-Works closely with Director HR to ensure effective training, programs, and policies are in place
-Coordinates and oversee HR communications related to recruiting of personnel, orientation programs, benefits and other human resources matters
-Oversee the administration of benefits including Pension, Medical and salary sacrifice schemes.
-Models HR leadership competencies, participates in firm wide human resources networks and initiatives and perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level, be CIPD Qualified and have experience within the Legal industry (or similar).
 
This is a fast-paced role, where you will be expected to provide a professional and high-level HR service to stakeholders and build relationships; candidates must be proactive, hold strong communication and interpersonal skills and work to a high level of accuracy.
