Cameron James Professional Recruitment is pleased to announce its collaboration with an international specialist distribution organisation, currently seeking a Group Finance ManagerAsGroup Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Your primary responsibility will be to support the in-country accountants and collaborate closely with various teams, including operational and commercial teams, to ensure efficient financial management. You will be responsible for various financial duties, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and business finance partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
Play a pivotal role in the budgeting and forecasting process, provide financial insights to support decision-making. analyse financial data, identify trends, and recommend actions, monitor adherence to the budget and cost-saving targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost controls. Act as a self-starter, proactively driving financial improvements.
Financial Operations Management:
Review and approve purchase orders, payment runs, manage headcount requests/changes, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in month-end close activities and financial reporting. Oversee Inventory/cash management and capex reporting.
Financial Collaboration and Compliance:
Effectively communicate financial information to non-finance teams. Present findings and insights to senior management. Build strong working relationships within the finance team and across functions. Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• ACA/ ACCA/CIMA Qualified with 5 years PQE.
• Proven experience in financial management and controller roles.
• Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with the finance team and cross-functional departments.
• Prior experience working with companies distributed globally and the cultural, legal, and foreign exchange challenges this brings.
