An exciting opportunity to work for a specialist rental business providing products and services to a diverse range of markets including civil engineering, rail, oil and gas exploration, construction, outdoor events and industry, primarily within the UK, but also overseas.

My client is looking for someone who is driven to succeed and who excels in all areas.

Example of responsibilities:

• The role of the HR Advice Partner is to provide guidance and support regarding HR procedures and practices relating to people management and recruitment within a geographical area across the business.
• Supporting and coaching line managers on Performance Management issues including conduct / capability matters and recruitment with a focus on behaviours and climate whilst ensuring consistency across the Group.
• To be the HR expert in investigation / disciplinary / grievance meetings; to provide advice and guidance on appropriate levels of sanctions to line managers which is consistent across the Group
• The provision of good quality telephone and face to face advice on employment law matters i.e. disciplinary, dismissal, redundancy etc.

• • Long term sickness absence • • Short term sickness absence • • Probation Reviews : advice to line mangers in carrying out reviews properly

Develop and maintain a comprehensive recruitment service to all the group businesses. This will include:


• • Job Profiles • • Recruitment Agencies • • Providing interview support to Line Managers • • Ensure all interviews that take place have interview notes completed and held in HR for the appropriate length of time • • Induction - working with recruitment managers to ensure employees are properly inducted




You MUST have:

• Minimum 2 years at a Senior Advisor level
• Engineering sector experience
• CIPD Qualification
