Production Planner

A leading food manufacturer, specialising in chilled food products.

Job Purpose:

• To ensure that realistically achievable Production Plans and Schedules are prepared in accordance with Sales Demands and that packaging materials are planned in conjunction to production needs to meet customer order quantitates
• Monitor and report performance to plans/schedules and ensure that any shortcomings are fully evaluated
• Key duties will involve Master Scheduling/Planning and detailed Production Scheduling


Due to this applicants are sought who have management experience of Master Production Scheduling or Production Planning within a high volume environment, such as chilled food manufacturing.

Competent understanding of interpreting customer demand is generated from sales forecasts, customer sales orders and ex stock requirements is essential and experience of Scheduling in Continuous Flow, Batch Production and Make for Stock Manufacturing would be greatly advantageous.

The role will be based around working a rotating day shift, covering the seven day production operation.
