We are recruiting for an experienced, motivated Paraplanning manager/ Senior Paraplanner to join a rapidly growing team for a boutique wealth management practice within the prestigious FTSE 100.


The role will focus on and require the following
• To provide paraplanning support to the practice’s directors. Assist in all aspects of practice’s operations, including but not limited to, following up with 3rd party providers, helping prepare transfer paperwork, entering pension and investment bond data into proprietary software, conducting analysis of prospective clients’ existing holdings, and formatting and producing recommendation materials.
• Will require individuals with first-class technical knowledge across pensions, investments, individual and family protection and inheritance tax planning strategies
• Alongside Para planning duties responsibilities include supervising a small team of Para planners/ Administrators necessitating a candidate with the ability to support technically, motivate and lead.
• Superb report writing skills and a highly professional approach. This is particularly significant given the quality of client serviced and this is a very hands-on support role.
• Diploma qualified as a minimum, (also/or ideally G60 or AF 3) have the ambition to reach Chartered status and be highly experienced within the financial planning arena.
• Alongside this candidates will be professional, enthusiastic and extremely dedicated, befitting the overall culture at the firm.
• Produce accurate KPI stats.
• Ensure that the team are producing accurate and compliant client files and suitability reports
• Review diary to prepare for forthcoming appointments
• Conduct pre-brief and post-brief meetings with advisers before





Roles Requirements:
• Diploma qualified with G60/AF3 qualification and Chartered Status or working towards it
• 3 years+ demonstrated experience working within financial planning/ wealth management environment
• Pension/Investment transfer experience
• Knowledge of pension, investment and life products
• Good technical knowledge ideally to Advanced Financial Planning exams from CII/CISI





The practice offers an extremely competitive package. The salary on offer can go as high as £60,000 OTE for the right person (upper end of the salary will be paid in recognition of strong technical knowledge, individual performance and their additional operational/leadership experience)
