Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger

£20k - £25k - possible study support

This position requires experience - please do not apply if you do not have experience within Accountancy

Cameron James are looking for an Accounts Assistant for a retail company based in Wetherby. The successful candidate will come from an accountancy background and will be ideally AAT qualified.

The Role:

• Managing the sales process
• Sending quotations
• Progressing sales quote to order
• Liaising with dispatch in order to invoice once goods are delivered
• Dealing with queries relating to sales orders or sales ledger
• General banking duties


The Candidate:

• Previous experience within Accountancy or Finance is essential
• Ideally AAT Qualified or similar
• Experience with managing the sales ledger would be advantageous
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 ideally


This is an urgent requirement for my client who is looking to get someone started before the end of October.
