Job Information

Cameron James are currently working with a National Civil Engineering company who are looking to appoint a new position of a Document Controller to sit within their administration team based from their Leeds Office. This is a new role responsible for a wide ranging variety of administrative tasks ensuring that all documents in to and out of the business are accurate and managed.

Key areas of responsibility- this is not an exhaustive list as it is expected that the individual will add to this from experience:

• Spread sheet preparation;
• Liaise with site managers;
• Submit daily & weekly;
• Make last minute alterations.
• Prepare Site Files & support Site File production
• Scanning
• Recording
• Distribution of reports
• Update and maintain the databases across the CRM and back office system
• Support Admin Team as required during periods of absence or unexpected high volumes of work activity
• Be able to offer a professional telephone manner and grammatically correct writing style


Experience / Skills

• Use of various Microsoft Office applications - Word; Excel; Outlook.
• Practical office administrative experience;
• Excellent planning/organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Confident and assertive personality with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Proactive and capable of acting autonomously
• A team player
