An opportunity has arisen to join a leading national insurance broker as a Personal Lines Account Handler at their branch in Leeds.

A leading regional insurance broker that covers all commercial and personal lines products. They have an excellent reputation in the market and also provide sound training and development opportunities.

If you are currently working in a contact centre environment and looking to continue in the insurance industry but with a company where your hours are 9am - 5pm then please do read on.

Key Duties;

• You will primarily deal with personal lines products including motor and household insurance
• You provide a full sales, marketing and advice service to existing and new clients
• You will work with the commercial team to generate business
• Identify potential sales from all new business enquiries
• Analyse existing client base and make suitable timely recommendations
• Complete supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
• Meet the targets set by the Team Manager
• Maintain own professional competence by attending training sessions

General Requirements;

• You will have experience working within insurance
• You will have experience dealing with different personal lines insurance products such as Motor and Household insurance
• Good communication, numerical & analytical skills required
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work well within a team environment
• You will be computer literate
