Job Information
Our Client is one of the Largest Independent Brokers of Commodities firms. They require a Compliance Officerr for their offices in the City of London.Oversight of trade recording to ensure trades are captured promptly and accurately on trade date
Preparation of daily positions and P/L reports
Tie-in of daily positions and P/L reports with traders'
Identification and investigation of any unusual and /or unexpected position or P/L movements
Preparation of daily hedging requirements for confirmation with traders,
Monitoring of daily trading volumes.
Skills required:
Position and P/L reporting experience within trading company or commodity trading section of investment bank is essential.
Energy market experience preferred.
Primarily Onboarding complex entities from high risk jurisdictions. Complex entity types include hedge funds, SPVs and correspondent banks. Analysts will also be involved in the onboarding of PEPs and corporate entities.
Successful applicants will report directly to the MLRO.
The primary responsibility of the Compliance Officer is to oversee the division’s compliance with market and trade supervision requirements of various exchanges. AML, KYC etc.
