Cameron James are partnering with a highly successful and profitable Castleford based manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk.Our client, a market leader with an enviable list of blue chip clients is looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual to join their lively finance team.
With a direct report into the Finance Director. The candidate will enjoy challenging, problem solving roles and be ideally suited to a fast paced environment. The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task as the role is within a busy department.
Job Role
Enter purchase invoices onto purchase ledger in a timely and accurate manner
Speak to suppliers regarding issues or queries in order to resolve any issues prior to payment
Reconcile statements
Liaise with appropriate colleagues internally and across the organisation
Liaise with Managers on site to chase invoice approvals
Any additional duties, within candidates capability, to assist in the covering of other departments when necessary
