Production Manager

This is a newly created role to enable greater focus and control on the production aspects of Leicester Operations. The purpose of this role is to deliver the operations strategy and to build and manage a team that will deliver and exceed targets set through budgets and KPI’s. You will also have responsibility to direct the team to deliver improvement plans within all areas of control.

You will be an experience Production Manager who can work with various internal stakeholders to ensure that the site operates to the highest standards of housekeeping, hygiene, safety and audit compliance. The ideal candidate will have solid and proven experience of change and project management. You will need to have a hands-on approach, be technically experienced and have be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Lean activities such as 5S, Kaizen and TPM

You must have experience in a range of senior operations/productions roles within the FMCG/food industry. As a Production Manager, you must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven ability to deal with a wide range of operational and people related issues. You must have proven commitment to H&S with either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
