We are working with a well established and growing organisation and they are looking to recruit an experienced HR Generalist who can manage HR for the business, in addition to providing executive support to the MD.

This is a new role and will involve managing all aspects of day to day HR duties, in addition to assisting the MD with full PA duties. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Providing HR support to around 60 employees, in addition to general running of a busy office and supporting the MD. The role will be 50% HR and 50% Executive PA
• Employee Relations - managing all aspects of ER and performance management in the business
• Appraisals- to manage our appraisals process and support managers and employees with this. Bonuses and training are based on the outcomes.
• New Starters - develop a bespoke induction service for each new hire covering both the specifics of their job and also company values and ethos. Plus checking of references, ID, P45’s etc.
• Training - identify individual and group needs for training, work with Senior Management to source or originate internally appropriate training content, manage all training for employees and ensure that people have taken the relevant courses and tests
• Recruitment - be responsible for the full recruitment process - drafting of brief and job description to placement and screening of candidates and then coordination with Senior Management for interviews.Then to manage contracts, references and all regular checks
• Staff Handbook - be responsible for ensuring Staff Handbook is kept up to date and fit for purpose
• Ongoing HR needs - manage needs as they occur. Frictions within teams, holiday entitlements, pension matters, nurturing and basic counselling.
• Leavers - to manage the exit process, both a good and bad exit. Exit interviews, IT closure etc.
• Supporting the MD and acting as an Executive PA - diary management, booking meetings, administration and all general support.
• Providing reports on sales and performance, preparing management meeting reports and management packs
• All general office administration, support and all aspects of a busy PA role.

For this role candidates will ideally be studying towards CIPD and have proven HR and PA experience. There is excellent scope to take on more responsibility within HR as the company grows, so they need someone who is keen and enthusiastic.

In addition to managing HR, the role will also focus around providing hands on support to the MD and other senior managers across the business.
