My client, a large up and coming organisation, are looking for a Financial Controller to join their expanding team. This position, based nearby the Colchester area, to oversee the finance & accountancy. Working within a small team, this role reports into the Managing Director.



Main duties:

• Cash flow forecasting
• Maintaining asset register
• VAT returns
• Prepayments, journals and accruals
• Assisting with budget, P&L and balance sheet
• Producing accounts to trial balance
• Month-end final accounts
• Assisting with budget preparations
• Other expected duties from a fully qualified Financial Controller



Ideal candidate:

• 3+ years’ in a similar role
• Qualified by experience or ACCA/CIMA
• Business not practice background
• Proficient IT skills (Excel, Sage etc.)



This role will suit someone who is looking to join a progressive company with an approachable atmosphere.
