Job Information

Our client is Listed Investment Company specialising in the renewable energy sector. They are looking for a commercially focused finance manager to drive the performance reporting across the business. You will be tasked with building relationships with operations managers for the portfolio and support their decision making. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Management of the monthly reporting by reviewing outsourced providers' work and production of the board pack with commentary
• Implementing and improving financial KPI reporting for the entire portfolio
• Building relationships with key operations manager and supporting the Head of Operations with decision making
• Undertaking cost analysis and support cost saving initiatives
• Setting annual budgets and leading on periodic forecasting
• Ad hoc projects as required

Key skills and requirements for the role:

• Be a qualified accountant
• Demonstrate strong monthly reporting experience, including production of high level commentary
• Show a clear ability to set budgets and produce forecasts with accompanying variance analysis
• Have a track record in adding value, driving performance improvement, and implementing efficiencies
• Infrastructure investment management / funds experience
• Ideally you will possess experience within an energy business

The salary and package

The offer to the successful candidate will be £60,000-£70,000 + benefits including an attractive bonus package, 10% matched pension contribution, healthcare, and 25 days annual leave.
