ABOUT YOUR NEW COMPANY

My client is a highly recognised and respected manufacturing company based near central Leeds. They are looking for a confident, experienced Accounts Assistant who can really hit the ground running, and fit in with the team cohesion which is heavily relied on in their structured Finance team.



YOUR GENERAL DUTIES

You will be expected to do following:

• Credit Control - chase outstanding debts
• Purchase Ledger - code and check specific invoices, pay out money via BACS/ Cheque, file invoices etc
• Sales Ledger - producing invoices, banking and reconciliation, VAT check, rebates etc
• Ad hoc office/finance related duties

You'll be in a very fast paced working environment, so experience in a large financial structure would be advantageous.



WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED OF YOU?

A desirable trait would be AAT Qualified/ Studying towards AAT, a breadth of experience as an overall accounts clerk, and having a great attitude with a clear and concise telephone manner.
