ABOUT YOUR NEW COMPANY

Your new company, a Food Manufacturing/ Supplier, are looking for an even headed Credit Control Specialist to join their solid Leeds finance department to assist the team with the income of outstanding debts.



YOUR GENERAL DUTIES

You will be expected to do following:

• All the follow up to agreeing terms with a new/ existing client i.e. Credit Check, offering credit, agreeing Terms and Conditions etc.
• Dealing with queries about the loan
• Keeping in regular contact with all clients and making sure all debts and loans are paid on time
• Re-negotiate payment terms, be in control
• Chasing outstanding current debts

There will be existing payments needing chasing, and new customers/clients looking to be supplied. It will be your job to stay on top of things and work around any issues with your experience.



WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED OF YOU?

Ideally, my client is looking for a through-and-through Credit Controller; 5+ years experience and someone with the mindset to perhaps progress and supervise as there is room for career progression. You will be very effective on the telephone, negotiate and have the 'gut feeling' that all great Credit Controllers weild. AAT Qualified would be advantageous, but not completely mandatory.
