Are you an ACA Qualified Big Four candidate looking to make your first step into Industry? Our client is a high growth Technology Company. They are looking for a commercially focused Finance Professional who is looking to make their first step from a Big Four role into Industry. Or you may have be looking for your second career move since qualifiying.Reporting into the Directors the role will be a ‘hands on’ position, you will responsible for the full finance function and all the day to day accounting. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
· Responsible for the revenue recognition on a monthly basis including revenue cut off at year end
· The setup of invoicing and revenue recognition of our new subscription based software,
· Finance function process improvement - mapping out the current process, identifying where to improve and implementing the change
· Responsibility for consolidation of the group companies accounts on a first year audit engagement, including accounts preparation and communication with the audit team.
· Involvement and overseeing the groups cash flow, ensuring there is enough cash in the correct regions to meet the company’s obligations
· Part of the team in charge of regional sales tax compliance
Skills / Background required:
· SalesForce (CRM) system knowledge preferable but not essential
· Track record of consolidating group entities
· Knowledge of UK GAAP specifically FRS102
· ACA qualified from a Big 4 Firm
· 1-2 years post qualified
· Intermediate to high level of MS Excel
· Good Degree from a British University
