THE COMPANY

My client, a successful growing retail distribution company based near Bury are looking to bring a very experienced Sales Ledger Clerk into their team to take over from a retiring member of the team who has retired after an incredible 15+ years in this position. This is a very saught after position

WHAT YOU'LL BE EXPECTED TO DO

• Process works orders to generate invoice, print and post daily
• Post cash/cheques received to computer daily
• Banking of cash/withdrawing cash
• Managing petty cash transactions
• Assist Credit Controller with collection of debts
• Post invoices and cash received onto accounts system
• Ordering and collecting of foreign currency
• Processing Export cost book and Sales Day Book
• Processing stock schedules

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

• Experience with SageLine 200 would be beneficial
• Knowledge of working in an Accounts environment
• Good IT skills i.e. Excel, Word.
• Good organisational, written and verbal skills.
