THE COMPANY

A Financial Advisor/ Consultancy company I am working closely with are looking to bring a Financial Controller in for 9 months for a Fixed Term Contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who is immediately available to jump straight into a comfortable and warm accounts environment and hit the ground running.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES

Your duties will Include:

• Provide support to the FD in preparation of the annual budget.
• Preparation and consolidation for review and sign off by the FD of the management accounts for all group businesses including supporting commentaries.
• Handling all HMRC dealings with regards to PAYE and VAT returns including preparation and submission.
• Completion of the day to day cashflow as well as preparation of the rolling 3-month cashflow forecast in line with the annual budget.
• Authorisation and review of the monthly payroll from information supplied by the business ensuring correct processing, submissions to HMRC and set up and payment of all employees.
• Responsible for preparation and control of all year-end files for audit for all locations (UK, Malaga, Panama and Ireland.
• Preparation of ad-hoc financial information and analysis as required by the FD
• Ensure adherence with the company processes and procedures
• Ad hoc requirement to provide cover for the FD for periods of absence



WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

You will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified, ideally immediately available (or have a short notice), 5+ years' experience in this sort of position, and have great people management skills.
